The 2018 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. 

The deadline to register to vote in the General Election is Sunday, October 7, 2018.  Voter registrations will be accepted at the Newport Police Station on Sunday October 7, 2018 from noon to 4pm; or you may register online:

https://vote.sos.ri.gov/

Can't make it to the polls on Election Day?  You may apply for a mail ballot. 

Submit the below application to the Newport Board of Canvassers, 43 Broadway, Newport, RI  02840.  The application must be received by our office (not postmarked) by 4:00 P.M. on October 16, 2018.
