Trash Collection Delayed for Memorial Day

Transfer Station Closed on Monday

NEWPORT -- The City of Newport would like to remind residents that the Waste Management Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2019 for the Memorial Day Holiday.

Monday through Friday collection services will be delayed one day. For a yearlong schedule of holiday trash pickup, be sure to download a .pdf copy of the City's Holiday and Yard Waste Calendar from the City's website by clicking here. 

Also, please note that City offices will be closed for the day, but we'll respond to any inquiries as soon as possible upon our return.
