Pay by plate parking is in effect from May 1st through October 31st. PLEASE NOTE – November 1st through April 30th No fee for parking at meters but TIME LIMITS REMAIN IN EFFECT. On-street multi-space parking meteres are located on specific streets throughout downtown Newport and along Memorial Blvd. at Easton’s Beach. Parking at an on-street metered space is limited to a maximum of three hours and the rate is $2 per hour, except along Washington Street, which costs $1.50 per hour. No need to place receipt on the dashboard.
