Canvassing

The Canvassing Office is your source for election and voter registration information. Our office works hand in hand with a trio of accomplished civil servants appointed by the City Council to serve on the Newport Canvassing Authority. From helping voters register on time to tallying the votes on election day, our team is actively involved in all phases of the city's electoral process and cooperates with the Secretary of State to ensure every election is handled with the utmost care.
