NEWPORT, RI (MONDAY, DEC. 1, 2025) –With the holiday season officially upon us, the City of Newport is once again busy preparing for the return of Santa’s nightly rides.

Santa is scheduled to meet up with Newport’s Fire and Police Departments beginning Tuesday, Dec. 9th for his annual tour of Newport’s neighborhoods.

This year, he’s planning on riding with our first responders through the streets to see the City’s children beginning at 5:30 p.m. each night on Tuesday December 9th, Thursday December 11th, Tuesday December 16th and finishing up on Thursday December 18th.

As always, Santa’s visit is weather dependent.
